Peace Oratorio is a musical work composed by John Meldrum, based on the words of Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela. It is written for 8 soloists accompanied by an orchestra, and a choir of children and adults from all backgrounds. Living in a world where war rains terror on all, where many are divided by beliefs that have hardened hearts into stone. Convinced of the huge human and artistic potential of this work to bring change, our mission is to bring music, sweet and beautiful, rocking and raucous that rekindles faith in America's place in the world, where people live in peace, where all races and creeds find the common ground of a deep understanding of one another, every sister, every brother, bringing freedom for one and for all.
